Dogs have several advantages over conventional burglar alarms. Their persistent alarming bark can deter a potential intruder, and will alert your neighbors as well. Although annoying, their false alarms probably won’t cost you anything while conventional alarm systems will. Another advantage is you can’t forget to arm them- dogs are “on” virtually all the time.
